Beneath Poem by Clester James Rabuyo

Beneath

Rating: 5.0

Beneath, I am freer than free
When I'm alone, with me, just me
Music is an escape from reality
Brings forth joy amidst a deep melancholy

Melody stipulates a whole different world
Time shall stop in a moment & never grow old
Telling reticently the stories untold
Unready of getting out, I'm not that bold

Books bring me to a world so far
And grip the unreachable star
Unlike the people's eyes that are
Nothing, but a prison bar

To spare thee, is to spare me
We are all prisoners of our own reality
And most especially
A prisoner, of what the wold dictates thee
