Beneath The Aisle Poem by XOR 999

Beneath The Aisle

Rating: 5.0

Young eyes awakened in
a forbidden territory
Blood shut voice catching
slowly with the story
Relentless questions
and one acidic answer
Reminds me how my life
fell for this cancer

Its her indifference,
its my voice unheard
covered by a dark fence,
her heart is so untouched
kneeling to the promise
these misplaced lines that tell
Is it just me or both of us
who constantly fail

Once her voice was my music
once her eyes was the light
now this doom is so tragic,
I'm haunted by her voice inside
blinded by her light,
I am all in darkness now
forever inside I fight
battling this cancer somehow

Her face ignites my deepest desire
but my desires leaps and rots
burned alive by this fire
forever slaved by her thoughts
fear to break away from this
my separated self that say
not every ignorance is bliss
she'll cry on my dying day

My conviction is the place
where her choices are still unknown
resonating pictures of her face
reminding how this cancer has grown
Illusions or deceptions
or a black abyss is where I swim
all my decaying emotions
are buried deep beneath my skin

Vivid memories and a silent cry
those autumn trees and clear blue sky
asking why did we ever lived this lie
cant we give it a one last try

Tormented inside
my soul still aches
behind these walls
I sit here and fade
