Beneathe The Blanket Of Twilight Poem by Anjali Shah

Beneathe The Blanket Of Twilight

Rating: 5.0

And
There the sun goes down,
Faded shades of pink, blue and orange paint the sky;
Clouds cloud up to clutter
Clearing doubts of how and why.

Darkness starts to linger,
Enmarking the beginning of a new saga tonight;
Two phones ringing aloud when the others sleep sound,
Just similar to the rhythm of two hearts
Beating beneathe the blanket they share, of twilight.

So here comes the beautiful night,
Stars dancing on the musicof his voice.
His voice was enchanting, what more could she describe?
The moon, witness of her beautiful choice.

She was a perfect dreamer
Flowing into her rivers of fantasies
And he the perfect dream catcher,
Bringing to life all her hidden ecstacies.

She was a poet
And he was her poetry,
Drowning in, unsaid words revealed
He was the best piece made in emotions and geometry.

Squeaks of his laughter,
Lighted up the darkest corners of her heart.
Just in a snap of the moment
He created a paradise out of her world art.

He was a true artist
Andall he painted was, innumerable shades of happiness.
One uniquely carved in world
Perfect warrior fighting for his princess.

Tangled into eachother intricately,
They lived in her world, wound of dreams
Swinging in his arms & melody of his heartbeat
Reality was better than imaginations it seems.

And the bird chirrups, find a little way to their ears.
Shades of hue, sun rising up the window,
& they knew it was time to say good morning and sweetest dreams,
Shhh its their time to sleep,
And wait for what the next day had to bestow.

They were in love.
Blessed more than they could might.
All they wanted was to be wrapped
In the unconditional love;
Every moment,
Beneathe the blanket of twilight.
Forever.
