Berlin Case Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Berlin Case

Berlin case

For many is over
Case closed; guilty dead,
Not for me

No! No! No!

I always feel Berlin.

A truck is hijacked
Drives wild to attack.

People rush like bees, ants
Some fall dead, some bleed.

This, no-one expected.

Though views far apart
I with those who lost love…
Will mourn till breath comes
Sun rises, sun is gone.

I feel them all along.

They have heads in their shells
Think of loss and its pains.

I think of misjudgement
The wrong man
His arrest.

Imagine being caught
Damned and cursed
And looked down…

Finally was released
I mean that poor Naved
Suspected and handcuffed
Only for birthplace; Pakistan.

Think of him and his life
Forever trauma…
