You're there only awhile when I need you
but you to fade as I grow older
we part are paths and say goodbye
tell next time in time
We will meet again
Then we rejoice and say hello
it was nice to have you growing up
I could tell you ever little secret
without you saying a word to anyone
I'm glad you were there when I need you
you were the best friend I ever had
