Depression - Poem by Kevin Fang

Have you ever wondered when the time
will come again
That you feel like you want
to get up in the morn again
But instead you are sad
that the sun is shining
You wanted rain instead
so no one could see you hiding
You try to lie deep
so deep to take away the pain
But months go by
and it still stays the same

Kevin, few is often best! A short work, yet direct and so discriptive in its message. Indeed, a very enjoyable writing I could easily and appreciatively relate to. Thank you, Kevin! (Report) Reply

Depression - an inner turmoil in which one is under severe attack by one's mind. The sun stops shining for the person, the individual is sad all the time and the sadness is so heavy that he/she finds it extremely difficult to get away from it. Love poem that depicts the ugly and deplorable wallowing of the mind in loneliness, sadness, hopelessness..., insightfully penned with conviction. Thanks for sharing Kelvin.
