We all go through changes that sometimes are hard to understand
All we can do is have faith it won't be more than we can withstand
You're a beautiful soul that's polished with love
Touched by angels; created from above
Never doubt how wonderful you are
You're a precious angel; my bright shining star
Don't be afraid to surpass the crossroads of uncertainties
Together I'll help you drop all your insecurities
When you need comfort; my shoulder is here
I'll whisper reassurances; you've nothing to fear
When you feel your world is upside down; I'll be your guiding star
Don't ever feel lost or lonely; I'm never very far
I'll cry with you, laugh with you; be here for all time
Trust me when I tell you everything will be just fine
Tests of life aren't easy and often bring us down
There's lessons to be learned as we turn things around
When you look back down the tunnel of life's yesterday's
It's easy to feel doubt like you're inside an endless maze
Many times I wouldn't have made it through
But I'm fortunate enough to have a best friend like you
I love the special bond we so beautifully share
The countless things you do that show me you care
I'll be the best friend I can possibly be
