You needed a shoulder to cry on,
I was there.
We were best friends back then.
Our friendship took us anywhere.
Then that day came,
That day I'll never forget.
I lost my common sense
That day is full of regret.
I fell in love with you,
Big mistake.
But before I got hurt,
I found out you were a fake.
But you say you love me now,
And that this is our fate
But the funniest thing is,
You were just a little too late.
