Mental Slave Poem by Arin Karma

Mental Slave

People come an enslave me,
But not just physically.
They come with that sharp, inferior gaze,
Their attitudes are far more superior than any weapon I've ever seen.
And they do a lot more damage.
Working, trying to escape.
They sense what I'm doing so they catch me every time.
Every scar and bruise,
Tells of a different attempt.
And I always loose,
Am I condemned?
No, god loves me.
But my hope has been drained.
Now all I have left, is listening to the rain.
People try to help me,
But they can't ever save me.
Because I have been caught up in the web,
Of Mental Slavery.
