Betrayal Poem by Yara Mickael

Betrayal

You were once my knight,
Whom I dreamt of every night
Whom I trusted with all my might
Then realizing it was never right

You, whom once said you loved me
And I fell for you
For he,
Promised I'll never feel blue

Months passed
It was nothing fast
For I gradually knew
Our love hadn't grew

Then you flew away,
Taught me a good lesson about 'betray'
It was more of a foul play
And I knew, your travel was only one-way.
