Betrayal Poem by sodoko zavaki

Betrayal

I was left there kneeling at your feet begging you not to leave me
You didn't even flinch, just walked away and left me in the darkness
My heart felt like it was frozen then had shattered into a million pieces
My heart could never be repaired
You promised me that you would never leave me
You swore on your life but now it's just empty words
You lied to me
Now you have broken my trust
I would love to punish you but I can't
You should be grateful
But instead you continue to break everyone else's heart
Just like someone did to you
I'm the only one that knows your past, your bitter past
Now you turn everything to hate, melting it to darkness
I wish you would turn around and hear my voice calling your name
But its too late for that, I can't save you anymore
Your heart is as black as darkness itself
I hope I don't have to kill you myself
