Betrayed Poem by Frances Morrell

Betrayed

Rating: 5.0

Betrayed
When you've been betrayed by one of your own.
You feel so lost and all alone. Your heart was ripped all the way through. You just hang your head because you don't knowwhat to say or do.
Being betrayed by one of your own. It's a pain in your heart that you've never known.
You swallow the lump that's in your throat and tell your tears.
You don't know why they keep breaking your heart.
When all you wanted was their love from the start.
Being betrayed by one of your own will stay with you forever till your Heavenly Father comes to take you home.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

While reading this poem; my heart was moving in my chest. The openness and soul-felt emotion in this poem makes it rank among the masterpieces. I wish you lots of strength and the answer lies sometimes just in unconditional love for our children.
