Betrayed Poem by Poko Loko

Betrayed

Rating: 5.0

She sleeps at night
No need to fight
In peace and love
Left there alone

Mistakes were made
No one to blame
She had to choose
He had to lose

Commitment was great
But how could he stay
Temptation that follow
Made him so shallow

Betrayal appeared
She had to retreat
To start her live over
To make a new cover

Under the silk and warmly sheets
She hardly tries to make no wits
The struggle kept inside her head
Dissolves her body in the bed

She sleeps at night, at least she claims
She’ll start the fight, she’ll stop the prays
All peace and love has step aside
Alone she stands with all her pride…
