I thought you were my friend,
But you left me in the end,
I thought you understood me,
You were everything I believed to be,
I thought you’d never leave,
Yet you left me to grieve,
I thought I could trust you,
But you left me with my heart of Navy Blue,
I thought I could confide in you,
You broke my heart in two,
With nothing else to do
I just sit around like a hat askew,
Only just because of you.
