Betrayel Poem by Sam S.Slait

Betrayel

Rating: 4.0

Filling my head with lies,
Thinking they are truthful,
Am I just a game to you,
Simply wind me up and let me go,
Do you like playing me,
What am I a stupid fool.

Falling for your tricks,
I thought you were the one,
Someone worth living for,
Making the world go round,
It was the past,
And always will be the past.

I feel this knife in my back,
And my heart hanging in pieces,
Why did you do this to me,
I thought it would be forever,
But it seems it was never meant to be,
Was I just a silly fling.

Am I ever worth remembering,
Or am I at the back of your mind,
Simply waiting to be forgotten,
Am I worth anything to you,
If so you never show it,
All you show is lies, betrayel.

And heartbreak then back stab me,
And what do I get in return,
Nothing but a broken heart,
Am I meant to be alone,
Forever.

Hm. From reading this poem and some of your others you seem to write alot about your feelings of betrayal. This poem, I think, really shows how you feel quite graphically and I think it is very effective.
