Better, Busy Poem by Haruna Garba

Better, Busy

One moment a call
Another one a buzz
That is how I live
Telephone the vain of my life

One moment building shelter
Another one tilling the soil
That is how I live
Family chores, the ball on my foot

One moment haggling
Another one calling it a deal
That is how I live
Swapping, the shackles on my ankle
s

One moment driving,
another one servicing
That is how I live
Haulage, the foreign body in my sock

One moment some headache
Another, the ulcers of my life
But it's better to be busy
Than a sleeper without a dime

Better, Busy
