Better Days Poem by Curtis Coleman

Better Days

Rating: 0.5

Better days are not far ahead,
when I was young this is what Momma said,
many night's I lay in bed thinking of those days ahead,
could it be I'm next in line,
for what it's worth I'll waste no time,
I won't miss no steps,
I'll break no stride,
if in one of these days I loose my drive,
pull me to the side,
and tell me I'm doing just fine.
