Better Genetic Mutation

You know what we need to straighten out this nation,
We need a better genetic mutation,
Maybe we'll get lucky with a gift from within,
An opportunity to go beyond sin.

A chance to give grace to our fellow man,
Before we kill off each other and ravage the land,
A mutation to improve our cognitive ways,
To overcome millenniums of difficult days.
