Between A Tiger And Big Elephant Poem by Toshie Nohara

Between A Tiger And Big Elephant

I dreamt I sat between a tiger and a big elephant in a train full of
passengers half asleep, so stiff like statues in a museum it running to nowhere, so very fast can'T stop thought my life won't last so cold so cold my body shivering, shivering yet try searching a cardigan
hand moving everywhere frantically, frantically.Suddenly I awoke!

What a cold, cold dream in Summer.
I looked and looked at the thermometer
Room temperature thirty degrees
How I wish for some breeze.
