Beware Poem by Lauren Harris

Beware

Beware that which travels by shadow and feast on the night
For I will fill your your dreams with fright
My day, is your night
And your darkness, is my light

Beware that which may guide the flame
For I am the one which is always to blame
No matter the sorrow, not matter the shame
To you I have but one name...

Vampyra
Goddess of the night
Demon of fright
In the shadows, I am always out of sight

You feast of the light
You travel with the sun
You give up without a fight
When the day comes to pass

When they will lay you beneath the grass...
I will love on...
Even after you are long gone...
So for now...

Beware that which travels by shadow and feast on the night
For I will fill your your dreams with fright
My day, is your night
And your darkness, is my light
