Beware Poem by Anterrio Graham

Beware

Rating: 4.5

Ever been snatched from the Balance you have created?
It's the most disturbing thing that creates hatred
The destruction of a place you have become content
Oh that person must definitely be Satan
Sent to steal that little bit of joy that you have designed

Shattered glass of the world that was not so perfect
Yet, it was better than a reality full of hurt
Where people's lies flutter and flirt
Leaving you in a cold and lonely desert of your heart
Yea, it is evil, but it's the truth

Sometimes the dirtiest of lies gives revelations
Something that you should have discovered in genesis
It's all been a trap, but the woman was not the temptress
We never notice that Serpent slithering for Created Life!
All so that he may end it

No one is truly safe
Even if we find that place we call "Eden"
There is always that Serpent in our life
Seeking to Devour Adam and Eve
