Where Will You Take Me Poem by Anterrio Graham

Where Will You Take Me

Rating: 4.8

Cold chills that shatter the very bone
Destroys the fragments of thoughts
Flooded with nothing but memories of the past
Then all you have is thoughts of being lost
Shadowy plains, Shadowy plains
Where will you take me?

Terrifying aches of pain
Heat that feels hotter than flames
The sun seems like a fine place to dine
Just take away this pain that feels insane
Shadowy plains, Shadow plains
Where are you taking me?

It's too dark to see
All this fear that is inside of me
God if you're there answer this one prayer
Please don't let this be my destiny
It's the thought of being there that frightens me the most
Because I know someone hates me, and that would be the host

Glimpse into the past to understand the future
This felt all too real to be an illusion
I am brought to the conclusion when I open my eyes
It was all a dream, but would I still pay a price?
