Beware Poem by Randy McClave

Beware

The Bible and the church taught me this
Not only does a snake hiss,
Always be aware and pay attention and listen
To those who calls themselves a Christian.
The Bible says do not mock or lie
So, listen closely to those who complain and cry,
And never believe or spew gossip or stories
That brings forth hate and false glories.
Beware of those who worship a golden calf
And those who carry a jeweled staff,
And those who falsely say they were sent by the father
They are liars and cons and a bother.
Be aware of those who are adulterers and cheaters
They are all true deceivers,
And remember what the Bible has said
Seldom will a rich man enter Heaven when he is dead.
To those who read, but they don't read the Bible
Lies are the Holy words rival,
They themselves give the Devil himself more power
On every second, minute and on every hour.
Beware of those who don't go to church
And beware of those who preach of themselves from a perch,
And not one Bible have they ever read
That there alone should be enough said.
Always be aware of all false prophets
Especially those who always try to make monetary profits,
Always look at their seeds sown
By God or by the Devil are they truly known.
There is only one God, always says the Lord
And only he will bring a mighty sword,
This to all Christians I will soulfully say
Look and listen and worship the Lord and always pray.
