Beware Around Halloween Poem by norman hale

Beware Around Halloween

I went walking outside
To have a peak at the moon
That's when I saw Eva and Audrey
Flying around on their brooms

I heard them cackling
And Audrey said 'let's race'
Then they shot off
Disappearing into outerspace

But, it wasn't long
Until they was commin back
Around the light of the moon
From out of pitch black

Around and around
They surely did fly
Then around, around again
All over that midnight sky

I told them it was time
For them to come in
I heard Audrey say 'one more race'
Then they shot off again

As they was headed back
This time they were chasing a spaceship
Those aliens sure looked scared
They had good reasons for those girls tricks

That spaceship landed on the moon
The girls circled around calling them chickens
But, that was the smart thing to do
Those girls can scare anything to the dickens

So beware around Halloween
Keep one eye peeled towards the moon
Or those girls might come after you
As fast as their brooms can go zoom
