Beyond Mere Desire Poem by Leon Jaime Villegas

Beyond Mere Desire

Rating: 5.0

Thoughts create and wander
eternal secret passages,
roads undetermined it ponders,
universe deepened in blackness.

Cosmos wide open to infinity
out layered adversity.
Desires craved for in our ramble heads,
a race of beings touch lost.

On their way on the go of creation,
times memorable, threaded paths,
innumerable limitations,
in minds of men,

A world thrives on end,
humanity its way treks,
unknown terrains bleakness bring,
digital tasks so persistent.

Inner spirit compressed,
May we end as trolls.
Consciousness awakes,
emotions reactions it spawns its tolls.

Onto universe sender,
positive feelings in action,
inner desires spun render,
shaped by order blame passion.

A day born upon coolest aurora,
one in Oneness realized,
must accept in nature all immerse,
beings into one consciousness.

Ought turn,
descended straight from a single source.
If hearts are raised in spurn
of another being, rage and blind surge.

What is it that bind us all?
a sentiment of pure love?
Is it?
What are our goals, we here for?

Think...
Think...
Think...
Beyond mere desire

Perhaps because of our lonely searches, the tree of life's possibility grows further into the void. If only we can explore with passion and imagination.
