Beyond the scars is greatness
Greatness without measure
Greatness beyond words and chords
Beyond the scars, do you see what I see?

Years of pain, years of hurt but it’s all gone
Behold I make all things new says the Lord
You are the testimony the world needs to see this truth
Beyond the scars is beauty,
Beauty of heart, mind and soul
Beyond the scars do you see what I see?

They told me he can’t be loved, he is too far gone
That’s when I remembered a doctor is for the sick and not the healthy
If indeed you were far gone, then I’m the doctor who nursed you back
I saw beyond the facades and the pain, and what did I see?
I saw my husband
I saw my teacher
I saw my companion
I saw my hero’
I saw my bestie
I saw my lover
I saw my better half
I saw my life
Wait a minute, I saw you!
Beyond the scars, do you see what I see?

God has you in the palm of His hands
I have you in every fiber of my heart
You make me smile every time you talk to me
My heart skips a beat every time you say you love me
How could it be that this so called ” far gone” person can love? Behold with God nothing is impossible!

So every time you feel like giving up
