In the Bible it is written
Why a person will be smitten,
Because, they have sinned
So, they must make an amend.
It is written in black and white
And why you must do right,
In the Bible it is known and said
Many times the passages we have read.
Of all sins and of all crimes
The Bible has mentioned this one 2000 times,
More than any other sin
That's sadly committed again and again.
Gossip is mentioned 150 times in the good book
When read and given a good look,
It's sinful talking about others
We all are indeed sisters and brothers.
Sex outside marriage is mentioned 70 times plus
Lord forgive them Jesus,
Adultery and greed are mentioned many times as well
Sins that will send a soul to hell.
Drunkenness is mentioned 50 plus times also
It is a sin true and preached by an apostle,
But, sadly those sins many still happily commit
Which gives the Lord a fit.
A sin that is mentioned 2000 times and more
It's the ignorance and non caring of the poor,
To them many don't pay any attention or care
They give them not a thought, not even a prayer.
God says, "whenever you look after the needy and the poverty stricken"
"You've looked after me", it is written,
The lord says do unto them as upon me you would do
And the Lord will bless you.
