Bicycling Poem by Daniel Miltz

Bicycling

Me, wander into my neighborhood world
Lickety-split through the cool windsome flight
Riding, my bike through area like bird
Pursuing mists in infiltrating light
Roundabout I a swirl, burst of breeze, whirled
Feel the twinkle of the sun and the bright
The sky is pure blue with refreshing air
I feel the zephyr blowing through my hair

Windy on the streets, I surrender all
Exciting whiff welcomes me tenderly
Faster my pedal could really haul
I fly all over the slopes, cleverly
Wheels a turning on a wholesome windfall
Embrace its touch every minute, mighty
Ma-mah-me-a knuckles have swung to white
From grasping the handlebars so darn tight
