Billy Boy Poem by Debora Soramaki

Billy Boy

He stuck his tongue
On to the ice
He couldn't brake free
It didn't feel nice
So his big sister ran
To get some warm water
Along came a man
And said, ' What's the matter? '
My brother is stuck,
Could you please help me sir?
' Of course, for a buck, '
As he teased the poor girl.
Just a little blood ran
Down onto the ice
' I help when I can,
So you better be nice.'
' I won't do that again, '
Billy boy said
' I'll keep my tongue in
Or else I'll be dead.'
