Bird-Brainery - Poem by Stanley Cooper

Americas
National symbol
The high soaring
Magnificent
Regal
Eagle
With its
Left Wing
And
Right Wing
Controlled by
Its
Brain and heart
Its
Center
Why don’t the bird-brains
In Washington
At least try to
Emulate
The Eagle
And
Dare to soar
