Birth Poem by Mrs Marie Roylance Roylance

Birth

Rating: 5.0

Into a wild bewildering world
He arrives protesting loudly
Fists clenched with defiant scorn
And voice to hail 'Now I am born'.

So small and yet commanding all
With forceful charm from one so small
Expecting much from his new world
But fate deals out what is due
Giving him an even chance
Moulding his life through

With clenched fists he entered loudly
Wanting everything
Hands wide open he'll leave this world
Wanting not a thing.
