Bite Poem by Rosalinda Flores Martinez

Bite

Rating: 5.0

I bite
like a cat, like a tiger.
I've been through all sorts of mutations
Servant to teacher
Child to parent
Writer to duty
I'd give you a kiss, bite one lip
A taste of mint and fresh olives
Yet awaken
In war
My fangs pervade
They defend.

It defines the role of an animated soul. It is all very complex. Thanks.
