You were a summers day
In my dreary cold life.
You lit it up, a glimmer a ray,
that seared so deeply.
I will always remember;
your smile, your laughter
And joys in November.
Stolen time, secret hideaway.
That's how we lived.
Life itself, in its moment.
Something I never conceived
That was possible.
You showed me what it meant to live
brought never ending happiness until this day.
When I learn that we have come to pass
By myself - the architect of destruction, of lost love.
Leaving heartbreaks in my wake.
I only wish mine broke and stopped beating - ever.
