Bitterness And Charm Poem by Peter Mamara

Bitterness And Charm

by M. Eminescu (1850-1889)

I carry bitterness and charm in my heart.
You overwhelm me with your sad smile.
Because, I am enchanted by your smiles
And your green eyes wipe me out.

And you don't understand
That you put death pains into my heart.
I can tell you how pretty you are.
But I can't tell you how much I love you.
