Bittersweet Time Poem by Susan LeGree

Bittersweet Time

Rating: 4.8

I searched for you today
in all the usual places,
and anywhere you might be
found
It is Fall; you should come to
call
Remember? It is the time
when
I used to gather you in my
arms
and place you upon a
pedestal
But we've moved on, you
and I
to places where you cannot
thrive

the four seasons have no reason to move on. they all have their time and place, and it's something that we all must face. but! to feel the florida sun upon my face and not have to worry about the norths cold night air, that is something with you i share. gr8888t write a ten

I love this. I love the simple style, and the pedestal always is an undercurrent in my life. So, so many have fallen and broken their necks, lol. Thanks, it's beautiful.
