Black Heart - Poem by Nicole Arishenkoff

My heart is black, black as night
It's really hard to try and fight.
The sadness and sorrows in my lungs
Will never catch in the wind and burn in the sun.
I know my life will never be complete
I will never rest my days and finely sleep.
