Black Hole Poem by April DOWN

Black Hole

As it sweeps through
My veins collapsing inwards
A planets implosion
To the black mass that follows

In this darkness my friend
I count the stars.
My gravity was suspended
My energy surpassed

By the blurred truth

In my failing sight
I catch the phosphorous edges
I know now there was always light
On the cusp of ages
