Pieces Poem by April DOWN

Pieces

I had no home
I stared years through windows
Snippets of life to learn
Street lamps my comfort as I roamed
I piece together my foundations
To rebuild from ashes
To gather a resemblance of life
The life and love I yearn
Near death I stood for the first time
The bottle sank to the earth
360 I had to turn, reassuring myself I would be fine
It took years for my rebirth
No opportunity to earn
You need chance for that.
