2016
There are black holes in our economy.
Sixty-two of them have swallowed
half the world's wealth.
Five years ago there were six times the number.
How long until one super-massive
black hole
engulfs the Whole?
Isolated in the vastness of space-
nothing to take-
this monument to unstructured greed,
deprived of sustenance,
will surely die.
For, though unable to give,
its essence will slowly dissipate
as Hawking Radiation
prowls the event horizon
slyly stealing its riches.
