Black Ink Poem by Lee Ann Schaffer

Black Ink

Rating: 5.0

I take my pen
And outline each of the stains
My tears left on the paper

And I think

How could any words
I would write
More perfectly express
My profound sadness

Than these small gray spiders.

I am ensnared in the poem, most simply, black ink is a gem of quality.
