Blackhole Poem by Vandana Pant

I open my eyes only to find nothing
It's dark all around no ray of light
I reach out to hold on to something..........someone
but only darkness is my companion
I am losing myself I cant get back
I cant escape cause I am trapped
I am sinking in a blackhole

Nothing but darkness prevails
swallowing everything mercylessly
this overwhelming silence is piercing
Amidst a crowd I am all alone
I dont exist for them, they are no one to me
just a dropp of water in the ocean vast
No one knows I am sinking deeper and deeper still
***Shattering of glass went unheard
