Blah Poem by Chelsea DeVries

Blah

Even though everything
is said and done
I still wish
you could be the one.

The one
to keep my heart inside
your locked safe;
the one to
sing-song my name.

Yet in a twist of fate,
you threw my heart,
watched it break;
now it hurts
to look
at you.

You were too young
for me;
you could not see
I was the best thing
you'd ever meet.

Now we walk
the same road
but different sides.
There will be no reason
to cross the solid yellow line.

You will wake
up one day;
realize
you don't play
with another's feelings.

You may
win the game;
you risk losing them
for a lifetime.

I will not cry
for me but for you.
I feel sorry.

In the end

You're the fool.
