Blasphemy
Some historians say
Many years ago
The seed of confusion
And division
And hate
Was planted by God
Who had a quarrel with one man
Who tried to reach him.
They say he scattered men
And their languages …
So, perhaps it’s ok
If Luo kills Kikuyu
If English kills Irish
If Hausa kills Igbo
If Serb kills Albanian
If Jew kills Arab…
Forgive me
Dear God,
For blasphemy
