Blasted 8 - Poem by Caitlin Halmagean

My world has change
I know it won't ever rewind
Ever since I turn the blasted 8
I've dreamed of being 7 again
But dreams aren't real
Ever since the blasted 8 hit
I've felt like I'm the one to come to when you need to let your anger out
On me just a child who thinks they did wrong
Ever since you touch that nasty bottle
I've been scared of every elder
Your the one who made me think all men hit
I wish you never were in my blasted world
Now everyday I regret turning that blasted 8
