Blazing Poem by Alyson Savage

Blazing

To see the sunlight gleam off of your jet black hair,
And to admire the perfectly grungy clothes that you wear
Sometimes I can't help but to stare.
It really is too bad that you don't know that I care.

To see you glide past everyday,
And to think that if only you could see,
Sometimes I wish that you would pay
Just a little more attention to me.

Such a gorgeous man
In your very own way,
I'm glad that no one else sees you the way that I can
Because I want you with me everyday.

Gee, I wonder who this is about? Seriously though, as usual, Alyson, your poetry is nothing short of spectacular. I really like this one in particular though because it made me take a closer look at the individual in question. Congrats, Al, for shedding a light on things that others may have missed. I hope to see more poems from you in the future-even if there not for a grade. :)
