Bleed Sincerely Poem by J M. Basey

Bleed Sincerely

It's hurting again
It's all ‘cos of you
I'm here all alone
Awaiting your return

One day I hope you'll return
To love me again
But until then
I will just sit here

I still love you
I always have loved you
You loved me
Still you decided to walk away

I lost everything
I should've seen it more clearly
Lost is what I'm feeling to you
I'm sure I will bleed sincerely

The only company I've got now
Are bottles of vodka
That I drink to ease the pain
Of our broken relationship

That has smashed into
Broken shards of glass
All over the bedroom floor
I haven't been in there since

If I try and go in there
I'll be reminded of that day
You broke my heart
And walked away

I lost everything
I should've seen it more clearly
Lost is what I'm feeling to you
I'm sure I will bleed sincerely tonight
