Bleeding Soul Poem by Joyce Rwambali

As my soul reaches out,
It sends a clear message.
There deep inside of me,
My soul is bleeding for you.

You echo within me,
Calling to be heard.
As you shutter in my heart,
You unlock my soul.
Your soul takes the leap towards mine,
And you linger within me.

My heart beats to your descending,
Pleading you not to go, not to leave me.
My soul bleeds, for my love is strong.
You grasp pushing on to reach out,
You cut me open and i'm free;

You welcome me once more,
We don't fade in this life time.
We are one again, after the seemingly unending struggle.
My blood clots from the wounds in my soul,
I'm free, free at last from my bleeding soul.
