Blends Of Air And Fire Wind And Earth. Poem by RIC BASTASA

Blends Of Air And Fire Wind And Earth.

in this corner
is this fountain
water spurts as
we gaze
and birds hover
and stop here
for a drink on
the peaceful part

i sit fronting it
under the shade of
the willow tree
listening to the
song of water blending
with the passing wind
creating in me
a chorus of fire

i am between
your heaven and earth

man: the center of
this universe
the listener
of your heave and
hell

spurts of humanity
birds hover and stop
here, for a drink of
the peaceful water

blends of air and fire
wind and earth.
