Bless Poem by Jeffrey Mitchell

Bless

A man is watching a beast devour other people. Then sees this beast coming toward him, as the beast towers over him! He falls to the ground and curls up in a fetal position.
The only thing he now sees is the word Bless written over his head. He then realizes that the beast did not devour him.
So he went to the Elders of the church to tell them what had happened, they told him he needed to tell others. So the next day he shared in prayer outside the church holding hands with others saying blessed are we, who are saved. Then he read from Psalm 44: 7,8
“But thou hast saved us from our enemies, and hast put them to shame that hated us.” “In God we boast all the day long, and praise thy name for ever.” Selah.
As they go around praising God, the sun is rising over the buildings and people are walking by looking at them, bless are they who are saved.
