Thanksgiving was a time to thank
Our Lord for all good things
To look around at those we love
And have hope for what life brings

We put away that holiday and then
We look toward a fresh new one
Christmas brings so many things
As we celebrate with delicious fun

Pretty lights and Christmas trees
Food and joy and music too
Creates the perfect scene
For friends and family and for you

We give with enormous love and charity
To help the world seem bright
We dropp some coins in a kettle
By the stores ‘cause it feels right

It all began with the birth of a baby
A precious baby that slept in hay
The star shown so brightly in the sky
And He was born on Christmas day

And then we look toward tomorrow
A fresh beginning so very near
Make plans for a new and better life
